I met the group at Sacramento International Airport to catch an 11:05 pm red eye to Ft. Lauderdale. For the next 10 days I would be traveling and experiencing Haiti with a group of 16 people associated with Bidwell Presbyterian Church based in Chico, CA. I had never met anyone going on the trip with me, but by the end of the week they all felt like the best of friends. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with a more wonderful group of people. They, along with the children of Haiti, will forever hold a special place in my heart.
